Our Success Story
Hello Single Moms of Wichita Single Mothers of Wichita Help Fund! I’m thrilled to share that in just one month, we’ve made a profound impact on the lives of around 200 single mom families. We’ve brought joy to children with bikes for birthdays, provided essential items like bunk beds, kitty litter, cat and dog food, oil changes, diapers, wipes, maternity clothes, baby clothes, and car seats. We’ve also spread love and care through door-dashed hot meals and groceries from Aldis. This has all been made possible through my personal contributions, those of my sister Cheryl Bonham, and a generous anonymous donor of $100. This journey has been incredibly rewarding for our directors of Kelsea’s Help Fund supporting Single Moms of Wichita. I’m excited to announce that I’ll be hosting one last diaper drive this Sunday at 215 South Lorraine Ave, 67211 starting at noon. It’s first come, first serve, so don’t miss out! After Sunday, I’ll be shifting my focus to preparations for our upcoming fundraising 5k/1 mile event on November 30th. This event is now free, so please sign up on Eventbrite and join us in making a difference in the lives of single mothers! We’re grateful for the support of Bubbas, Smoothie King, Chick-Fil-A, Firehouse subs, and Red Robin, who will be providing food, swag, and coupons. You can help us continue to make a difference by volunteering, seeking donations, promoting the event, and forming partnerships. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!

Weekly Care Essentials Drive for Single Mothers
As a core component of our Essential Needs Support programming, Hope for Single Mother proudly organizes weekly Diaper and Wipes Drives every Sunday. This consistent effort ensures that we can provide a reliable supply of these critical, non-taxable necessities to single mothers and alleviate a significant financial burden. By focusing on this fundamental need, we help our client families reallocate limited resources toward housing, food, and long-term stability.
